This little cafe is so great and clean. The two women working are so sweet and friendly too. The food/menu is simple but delicious. I literally get breakfast here every morning. Oh and on top of it all the pricing is too good! I get a bacon egg and cheese bagel with avocado and coffee for only $8! Could not recommend checking out this local gem more
My new go to coffee shop in the neighborhood. I believe they brew La Columbe. Grabbed a coffee and then got our nails done at Nu Image next door. Need to go back and order food next time. In a strip mall so easy parking if you have to drive.
My 6 yr old son just lovingly dubbed their Warm Chicken Bacon Avocado sandwich "the best sandwich in the world." He's right about its deliciousness; you should probably go get yourself one! Also the staff here are super sweet.
Wonderful neighborhood cafe, they are super nice, service is quick, and the inside is very clean. Stumbled upon this place after getting my nails done and I'm very happy with the find. They opened up four months ago and I hope they're here to stay. Got a double espresso shot and boba milk tea-green tea flavor. Both were very good. I will be back here to try some of their delicious looking food next!
The smoothies, although short on variety, are very good. In fact, the one I ordered, mango-banana, was really tasteful. I didn't mind the tiny chunks of ice mixed in the smoothie. I also tried their chicken-bacon and avocado sandwich and it was delightful! I will return for more!
Ka Cafe is a new addition to the Bowmanville neighborhood. We visited one afternoon looking for a quick lunch and we were able to get a delicious chicken avocado sandwich and a khao man gai bowl with a Thai bubble tea (subbed soy milk). Delicious, fresh ingredients. The cafe is owned and run by two sisters, Lek and Kobi. Super friendly and welcoming. The ambiance is open and airy, accompanied by Thai ballads or R&B music. There's a drink cooler with typical beverages (Perrier, Diet Coke) and some that are harder to find in the neighborhood (Ramune). There's also a snack rack by the door with a range of Thai and Asian snacks. There are also a range of coffee and espresso beverages as well. On different occasions, we have also purchased their breakfast sandwiches (egg, avocado, and bacon) - quick, hot, and fresh. They are a great option for a quick and affordable breakfast sandwich - on the go or not. We will definitely keep going back!
Do yourself a favor and stop reading this review and just go get yourself some delicious food and drinks! This is an amazing little gem, hidden in a strip mall. Really tasty sandwich options and pastries, kind and knowledgeable staff, clean, and welcoming of my kiddos. Easy parking in front if you're driving. Enough room inside you could easily bring a stroller or wheelchair and maneuver without difficulty.
New coffee shop in the neighborhood! Was excited to see this because most places are overpriced or a farther walk. I got a coffee and the wife decided to try the Thai ice tea. We shared a cookie. The cookie was delicious and the tea was amazing! The service was great. We were greeted kindly and our items were quickly prepared. We will definitely be making this our new coffee puck up stop!
